Dott Services Limited has entered into a joint venture with SAKIMA SA , a state owned enterprise (SOE) operating in the DRC and formed a JV company by name PUNIA KASESE MINING S.A (PKM S.A) with rights to develop, produce and market the minerals selected in the mineral zones made available to it by the SAKIMA SARL.
The overall objective of this JV formation is to develop the mineral deposits and to promote stable long term conditions for mining investment and to contribute to the sustainable development of the Congolese state and its communities through a process in which the production and use of non – renewable natural resources takes place in an equitable framework and is also part of the development and rehabilitation of certain hydroelectric assets.
